Memperbaiki Permission File atau Folder
Setelah sekian lama mempergunakan server, maka kita juga harus memerhatikan masa pakai dari benda tersebut, terutama di bagian harddisk, dan power supply, oleh karenanya, maka server lama pun diganti untuk menghindari hal yang tidak diinginkan dimasa mendatang.
Terkadang disaat perpindahan server, terjadi salah konfigurasi permission pada file atau folder, ini dapat disebabkan oleh konfigurasi di server terbaru berbeda dengan server lama, maupun juga karena kesalahan sewaktu memindahkan.
Jika file atau folder permission yang salah hanya sedikit, maka kita tidak memerlukan waktu lama untuk memperbaikinya, namun bagaimana apabila filenya banyak?
Mempergunakan script seperti dibawah ini, amat membantu saya
find /path/to/folder/ -type d -print0 | xargs -0 chmod 755 (untuk mengganti permission folder)
find /path/to/file/ -type f -print0 | xargs -0 chmod 644 (untuk mengganti permission file)
Tentunya dengan asumsi bahwa permission folder adalah 755, dan file 644
ini juga dapat memperbaiki kesalahan dalam ownership (chown)

Perintah yang lebih singkat dan lebih foolproof bila jumlah filenya banyak:
find -type d -exec chmod 755 ‘{}’ \;
find -type f -exec chmod 644 ‘{}’ \;

Essays belong to a literary species whose extreme variability can be studied most effectively within a three-poled frame of reference. There is the pole of the personal and the autobiographical; there is the pole of the objective, the factual, the concrete-particular; and there is the pole of the abstract-universal. Most essayists are at home and at their best in the neighborhood of only one of the essay’s three poles, or at the most only in the neighborhood of two of them.
Like the novel, the essay is a literary device for saying almost everything about almost anything, usually on a certain topic. By tradition, almost by definition, the essay is a short piece, and it is therefore impossible to give all things full play within the limits of a single essay. But a collection of essays can cover almost as much ground, and cover it almost as thoroughly, as can a long novel. Montaigne’s Third Book is the equivalent, very nearly, of a good slice of the Comédie Humaine.
